Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity is determined to produce 15 percent of power from renewable energy by 2030, the country’s new electricity minister said. “The Electricity Ministry commits itself to generating 15 percent of power out of renewably energy by 2030,” Bakheet Al-Rasheedi, who holds the oil, electricity and water portfolios, said while welcoming well-wishers.
Assistant Undersecretary for Water Operation and Maintenance in the Ministry of Electricity and Water Eng Khalifa Muhammad Al-Fureij has vehemently denied news circulating in the press and social media platforms concerning notification of general cut-off of water supply on Tuesday.

Kuwait: The power plants’ operation and maintenance sector at the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW) has already started cutting expenses and reducing the number of expat technicians, Assistant Undersecretary for Power Plants’ Operation and Maintenance Fuad Al-Oun said.
