Kuwait: The Kuwaiti champion Abdullah Al-Fadhel has won three cups in the third round of the US seasonal jet-ski championship held in Nevada.

Kuwait: The Public Authority for Youth and Sports (PAYS) had organized a family sports day on Saturday in Al-Surra play fields. The event aimed at spreading awareness of the benefits of sports for all family members, said director for the sports for all sector Hamid Al-Hazeem in a statement on Sunday.

Marathon for people with disabilities was launched here on Monday, on the occasion of celebrating International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), under the patronage of the Undersecretary of Social Affairs and Labor Abdul-Mohsen Al-Mutairi.

Assistant undersecretary for social care Dr. Fatma Al-Mulla who launched the marathon, said in remarks to KUNA today that his event came to shed light on people with disabilities and their unlimited capabilities.

The Kuwaiti national football team snatched their first three points in the 22nd Gulf Cup through a hard-won victory against the Iraqi team 1-0 in their Group B encounter at Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium here Friday evening.

The only goal of the game was scored by Fahad Al-Enzi in the last minute from a wonderful pass by Bader Al-Muttawa.

Al-Azraq (the Blue) team were able to put the Iraqi team on the defensive from the very beginning of the game thanks to the energetic Al-Enzi, Al-Muttawa and Ali Maqsid.

The win broke a chain of draws of other Group B teams.
