Gaza: The Kuwaiti Hospital in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, on Sunday inaugurated a solar energy project to overcome the repeated power outages in the city, negatively affecting vital services offered to patients.

The opening ceremony was attended by a host of Palestinian officials, from the Ministry of Health and Rafah Municipality, as well as lending institutions and city dignitaries and doctors.

London: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Thursday announced Kuwaiti contribution worth USD 300 million for aiding Syrian people for a three-year period hoping such an initiative would help in alleviating their hardships.

Based on humanitarian grounds and Islamic values, the state support to disabled persons does not only cover nationals but extends to include foreign residents as well.
