Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity is determined to produce 15 percent of power from renewable energy by 2030, the country’s new electricity minister said. “The Electricity Ministry commits itself to generating 15 percent of power out of renewably energy by 2030,” Bakheet Al-Rasheedi, who holds the oil, electricity and water portfolios, said while welcoming well-wishers.

Kuwait: Official statistics issued by the Supreme Council for Planning and Development showed that the total estimated cost of building the metro transport system – one of the development plan projects included in the 2035 vision – will be KD 3.46 billion.
