Drugs found in cricket bats brought from Bangladesh
The international drugs fighting unit of DCGD completed the supervised handover of drugs after the arrival of a Bahraini cricket delegation, resulting in the arrest of an Asian driver who brought 500 gm of marijuana from Bangladesh via a courier, and hid it inside cricket equipment that arrived in Kuwait via Bahrain.
The arrest was made as the suspect was receiving the parcel, and he confessed to the charges.
