Kuwait: The first anniversary of the UN honoring of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as a humanitarian leader and Kuwait as a humanitarian center will be celebrated next Thursday. Amongst the main reasons for the honoring was Kuwait's continuous contribution to aid the Syrian refugees with the Gulf state having held three donors conferences, which collected around USD 3.8 billion to help Syrian refugees. Kuwait donated around USD 1.3 billion to help the refugees.
